$164,000—$180,000 Base Salary + Benefits

This is a US-based remote position (Eastern time zone preferred) and some travel will be required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of a contracts strategy, in conjunction with a cross-functional team
  • Develop and refine the company’s contract management and compliance processes
  • Establish and maintain a contracts intake process
  • Assist in the drafting of contracts negotiation guides and playbooks
  • Administer Coforma’s contracts on an as needed basis, including:
  • --Collaborating with PMO to host contract kickoff meetings
  • --Attending meetings with the client’s contracts team personnel and otherwise building relationships with stakeholders
  • --Answering questions pertaining to contract requirements, coordinating with project management office as needed
  • --Maintaining contract records and documents in accordance with contract requirements and company policy
  • --Preparing and distributing instructions on contract requirements to project management and other company administrative activities (HR, Accounting, Security, etc.)
  • Track, maintain, and advise on Coforma’s Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS)
  • Assist in the drafting and implementation of policies and procedures, appropriate in size, scale, and burden for a small business, that relate to Coforma’s compliance obligations under the FAR or other applicable law, including leading initiatives designed to ensure that the organization would pass a government regulation customer audit at any time by any of Coforma’s clients or socioeconomic certifiers
  • Support in the resolution of government customer escalations, challenges or disputes

Requirements

  • Ability to develop strong relationships and become a trusted subject matter expert (SME)
  • Working knowledge of FAR, as well as agency-specific procurement regulations and federal acquisitions using a company’s GSA Schedule
  • 7-10 years of federal contract management experience
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and tools
  • Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in writing and orally (whether verbally or through assistive technologies/aids) to increase transparency and keep stakeholders informed
  • A proactive, empathetic, persistent, positive, and growth mindset
  • Knowledge of basic laws that apply to businesses
  • Adept at working independently and as part of a team
  • Able to anticipate matters, manage multiple issues/topics, and adapt to new situations and with new information
  • Full life cycle contract management experience
  • Confidence in skills and experience that manifests as a willingness to take initiative and translate ideas into action
  • Experience growing a small team into an office that supports wide segments of the business
  • Strong collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with disadvantaged small business (SDVOSB, 8(a) companies), or Mentor-Protégé Program participants in the digital services industry
  • Experience with Unanet (or other DCAA Compliant Software)
  • Experience with federal proposals

The annual salary range for this position is $164,000–$180,000/year.

This role is required to work from the contiguous United States.
