We are seeking a Controller to join our finance team. The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to the leadership team. The Controller will lead our finance team, collaborate cross-functionally with teams across the company, and drive the financial strategy of the organization.

Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee all accounting activities and reporting systems to ensure compliance with appropriate standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close as well as clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Maintain compliance with our internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Coordinate and lead all audit activities as required and appropriate.
  • Manage our treasury function and banking platforms.
  • Consistently analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Monitor progress and changes and keep leadership abreast of financial updates as well as collaborate with leadership to align operational strategies and financial goals.
  • Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • Supervise and mentor the accounting team as well as foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years experience in accounting
  • Experience overseeing and managing an accounting team
  • Experience managing the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations
  • Proficiency in NetSuite and MS Excel
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of financial principles

Expected Compensation:

  • $140K -$160K
