Role Overview: We’re looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to lead the development of our mobile platform. As the only engineer on a small team that includes a QA Architect and a Senior Designer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our mobile experience. This is a unique opportunity to build from the ground up while collaborating closely with design and QA to deliver a world-class product. What You’ll Do:
- Architect, develop, and maintain our mobile applications for iOS and Android.
- Collaborate with design and QA to deliver seamless and polished user experiences.
- Define and implement best practices for mobile development, testing, and deployment.
- Own technical decisions and ensure the scalability of our mobile platform.
- Act as the main point of technical expertise for all things mobile.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of professional experience in mobile app development.
- Expertise in React Native or native development for iOS/Android.
- Proven track record of shipping high-quality mobile apps to production.
- Strong understanding of mobile performance optimization and debugging.
- Ability to thrive as the sole engineer in a collaborative, small-team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in the renewable energy or SaaS industry.
- Knowledge of geolocation technologies and real-time data integration.
- Familiarity with SOC II compliance and secure app development practices.
