Description
We are looking for an energetic, hardworking, and creative copywriter who is passionate about nature restoration. As a copywriter, your main responsibility is to create engaging, high-quality, and meaningful content to boost organic traffic, attract potential clients, and facilitate conversions.
Your tasks will include developing marketing content across various channels, such as blogs, news, brochures, newsletters, website content, eBooks, ad slogans, video scripts, and social media posts. While your primary focus will be on long-form content such as blogs, eBooks, and brochures, you will also be collaborating with other team members on other forms of content. You'll craft creative promotional materials to make the company's products appealing across different platforms, aiming to attract organic visitors, investors, and businesses seeking to reduce their carbon footprint and make a positive impact on nature. Your content will emphasise driving new organic traffic through evergreen content, ensuring SEO relevance and freshness.
Your content should align with our company's voice and style, contributing to conveying our mission, values, and objectives. It will be important to stay updated on industry trends and build brand awareness and reputation.
What you’ll do
- Crafting clarity: Write clear and error-free content that reflects the company's voice, style, and mission.
- From vision to words: Interpret creative direction and technical information and turn them into persuasive copy concepts that are engaging and informative.
- Collaborative content: Collaborate with content and marketing departments to brainstorm and develop a variety of content that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
- Driving conversion: Write and deliver well-researched blogs and articles that attract organic traffic to the website and convert visitors into customers.
- SEO mastery: Use search engine optimisation (SEO) strategies to optimise content for search engines and increase its reach and visibility.
- Trend insights: Research market developments and industry trends to create content that is informative, relevant, and valuable to the target audience.
- Team alignment: Communicate and cooperate with the content team to ensure all materials are in line with the company strategy, produced on time, and meet the company's quality standards.
- On-time delivery: Follow an editorial calendar and organise writing schedules to complete content—about 6–12 content pieces per week—within deadlines and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
Requirements
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience: At least two years of proven experience as a copywriter. Industry experience will be preferred, and example content will be requested.
- Education: A degree, courses, or related educational experience will be preferred.
- Online content strategy: Knowledge of online content strategy and creation.
- Writing and editing skills: Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Creativity and initiative: Creativity, initiative, and innovation in developing content is a must.
- Collaboration: The ability to collaborate with content and marketing departments to develop content aligned with company goals.
- Research skills: Strong research skills for creating well-informed and valuable content.
- SEO knowledge: Skilled in search engine optimisation (SEO) strategies to optimise content for search engines and analyse the results.
- Communication skills: Effectively communicate and cooperate with the content and marketing team to ensure timely and quality production.
- Organisational skills: Follow an editorial calendar and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines.
- Technical skills: HubSpot wizard, familiar with working on Monday.com, Metapulse, and Google Workspace.
