Copywriter
We are seeking a skilled freelance copywriter to support a project at M&C Saatchi Export on a short-term basis. Expected contract length is 1-2 weeks. The ideal candidate will have experience in PR/Comms and a strong background in writing for a range of applications, including soundbites for thought-leadership topics.
About the role:
You will be responsible for developing a comprehensive document of key messages across a range of different sectors and audiences, aligned with a new strategic positioning that we are currently developing for our client. The target audience is primarily B2B, and you should have experience or familiarity with writing for this type of audience. The tasks include:
- Develop Messaging House based on a provided brief, with a focus on organizing and structuring content effectively
- Write copy for a variety of uses, including but not limited to soundbites for CEO thought leadership
- Collaborate with the strategist to ensure messaging aligns with overall communication goals
- Conduct research as needed to inform messaging and ensure accuracy
- Edit and proofread all content to ensure high quality and consistency
About you:
- Portfolio of work demonstrating copywriting experience in related fields
- Experience in PR/Comms
- Strong research skills and the ability to gather information from multiple sources
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
