The Role

The primary responsibility of the Copywriter is to work with the Content Marketing Manager and team to conduct research on industry-related topics; craft engaging, educational, and actionable content, and proofread content before publication. They will also work up copy for print and digital ads. If you’re familiar with producing content, enjoy working in a team environment, and have an eye for detail, we’d like to meet you. As a member of our Brand team, you will work closely with Marketing stakeholders and should be comfortable delivering high-quality assets in a deadline-driven environment.

  • Blog posts
  • Case Studies
  • Whitepapers
  • Video scripts
  • Assemble effective ad copy to promote products and services
  • Review copy to ensure brand standards are met
  • Handle delegated tasks independently

What You’ll Bring

  • Expertise in writing long- and short-form copy in the voice of a Sage brand archetype
  • An understanding of cloud-native, AI-enabled, platform-based edge technologies
  • A firm grasp of content marketing strategies
  • Problem-solving and communications skills
  • A deep appreciation of oxford commas
  • Internal or commercial agency experience a plus
  • Keen attention to detail with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and keep others notified of changes to schedules
  • Knowledge of proper delivery formats and technical specifications in print and web spaces

Experience

  • Advanced skill set designing marketing materials
  • Strong portfolio

Competencies

  • Examples of adherence to style guide or branding requirements
  • History of sharing ideas comfortably with Marketing or other colleagues to ensure deadlines are met
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
