As a copywriter, you will write clear, concise, and error-free content for websites, ads, and marketing materials that reflects Lingo’s voice. Working in close collaboration with web and graphic designers, you will ensure their messages are communicated clearly, whether that be in an email or on a website landing page. You will need to build a strong understanding of copywriting briefs to understand project requirements, propose engaging copy concepts for clients, and carry out projects once approved.
What you’ll do
- Write clear and error-free content for websites that reflect the company’s voice
- Propose copy concepts in an engaging way for consumers and carry out projects once they are approved
- Interpret creative direction and technical information and turn this into persuasive copy concepts
- Collaborate with the PR and marketing departments to brainstorm and develop marketing materials
- Stay on top of the latest trends and competitors within the editorial sphere
- Edit and proof work to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs
- Collaborate with creative, product, marketing, and legal to assess project needs and help with messaging
- Drive brand consistency across all company communications
- Conduct thorough research and interviews
Qualifications
- 3+ years of proven experience as a copywriter or similar role
- Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Experience with SEO
- Strong research skills
- Strong creative thinking and storytelling skills and an ability to think conceptually
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- An ability to articulate ideas to teams of marketers and designers
- Collaborative spirit and attention to detail
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Familiarity with the healthcare or healthtech industry is a plus
- University degree in marketing, English language, journalism, communications, or similar disciplines

The salary for this role is between $104,300 – $208,500
