As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated individual to oversee our corporate accounting function, driving process improvements, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and contributing to our ongoing success. What you'll do:
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of the corporate accounting function, with a focus on business process and system improvements, automation and improved efficiency around close calendar
- Coordinate and lead the monthly and quarterly corporate close and reporting activities to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results
- Key responsibilities may include: processing of accounts payable, billing customers, coding of transactions, account reconciliations, expense accruals, prepaid expenses and allocations
- Ensure proper capitalization and amortization of internal use software development costs, including liaising with the engineering team.
- Ensure the accuracy of billings and monitor the AR aging schedule for past due receivables
- Review and approve invoices and monitor the AP aging schedule to ensure vendors are paid timely and accurately
- Ensure timely preparation and distribution of 1099s
- Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures for corporate accounting.
- Participate or lead ad-hoc projects, analysis or reporting, including collaborating with other cross-functional teams as necessary
Technical skills:
- Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP accounting, internal controls and financial reporting
- Hands-on experience in managing corporate accounting operations and performing accounting analysis
- Demonstrated ability to successfully multi-task the management and delivery of complex projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Data-savvy and able to extract and analyze from a variety of sources.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or similar field
- 3-5 years of relevant industry experience
- CPA license is preferred
- Experience with NetSuite is preferred
