The Corporate Business Development (BD) Manager is responsible for financial modeling and valuation analyses, supporting deal execution including due diligence coordination, preparing deal presentation materials and maintaining BD pipeline reports and trackers.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop financial models in support of business development transactions including valuation (NPV, IRR) and EPS accretion/dilution analysis, working in close partnership with business units, finance & accounting, commercial teams and key functional areas as needed
  • Ensure models are developed using consistent Zimmer Biomet (ZB) standards and incorporating feedback from M&A due diligence reports and integration planning, as applicable (e.g. incremental costs associated with ensuring ZB compliance and quality standards)
  • Assist with coordinating deal execution process, including due diligence activities on potential ZBH targets and transactions
  • Interface with business unit partners and corporate functions on new opportunity evaluation and screening
  • Assist with the development of management presentations for leadership meetings including Investment Committee presentations
  • Maintain Business Development policies and procedures and updates annually
  • Maintain BD pipeline reports and trackers
  • Perform ad hoc analyzes on special projects.

  • Possesses advanced Excel and Power Point skills.
Education/Experience Requirements
  • B. A. or B.S. in Business Administration or related field required.
  • MBA preferred.
  • A minimum of 6+ years of work experience in Business Development, Finance/Banking, Strategy, or related areas.
Travel Requirements

Up to 20%
