Corporate Data Analytics Manager

Our Data Analytics Manager will play a key role in the growth of the company by building out and maintaining SaaS related business analytics, analyzing business unit financial performance, aiding in pricing strategy, building pro forma models used for company operations and a wide range of other ad hoc activities as they come up. The individual will report to the CFO and interact with senior managers in the business. This position requires a motivated self-starter energized by the rapid pace and limited structure of a private equity backed company.

This position is FULLY REMOTE; we will consider candidates who are located in many, but not all, states within the United States. For US-based positions, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States for any employer.

Requirements

  • Perform complex analysis and/or modeling to answer strategic business questions
  • Prepare information for presentations for business leaders to highlight financial trends and summarize business plans
  • Work with CFO to develop annual budget and monthly forecasting tools
  • Create due diligence materials for potential investor, fundraising, and acquisition efforts
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis as required

The ideal candidate for this role will have/be:

  1. A Bachelor’s Degree (required).
  2. Strong problem solving and analytical skills, including financial modeling, as demonstrated by 1-3 years post bachelor’s degree experience in a top tier management consulting, investment banking, or corporate development environment.
  3. Mastery of MS Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Salesforce, NetSuite and other analytical/database management tools preferred.
  4. Strong communication skills including the ability to design and develop structured present results of work and analysis in both formal and informal settings with senior managers, and other stakeholders to the business.
  5. Proficient understanding of technology, the software industry, and/or higher education preferred.
  6. Pre-MBA candidates must be willing to commit 2 years of work.
