We are seeking a Corporate Paralegal to partner with our Senior Director of Legal to provide essential legal and operational administrative support to our legal, compliance, and sales teams. This role will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and revising commercial legal documents. Additionally, they will manage our CLM system and serve as the first point of contact for all new incoming legal requests, overseeing them until completion.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the entire contract administration process, including drafting, reviewing, redlining, and negotiating various agreements, under attorney supervision
  • Oversee the contracts process and manage the CLM system, Ironclad
  • Collaborate and develop strong relationships with internal business teams and third parties to gather and synthesize information for agreements
  • Act as a liaison between company and customer attorneys, outside counsel, organization leaders, and company employees
  • Work with other members of the legal team on special projects and initiatives
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of legal department processes
  • Assist in ensuring the company's compliance with laws and regulations
  • Provide continuity of service to stakeholders in the absence of the Senior Director of Legal and/or the Vendor Management Office

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, with significant time spent working with SaaS and/or commercial contracts
  • Paralegal certificate or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience supporting a sales team in customer contract negotiations
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional document review and organizational skills - must be able to read legal documents and think critically
  • Ability to maintain a confidential environment
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Word
  • Ability to work in tandem with Eastern Time Zone business hours as needed
