Corporate Recruiter
Overview
Banjo Health is a healthcare technology. We are seeking a Corporate Recruiter to join our growing team. The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for facilitating all aspects of the recruitment process to ensure an effective and streamlined recruitment program and for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. The Corporate Recruiter develops and executes recruiting plans and works closely with hiring managers to determine prioritization, timelines, and resource needs.
Key Functions
- Foster a positive image of the organization and educates potential candidates on the specifics of our practice
- Develop and execute recruiting plans by partnering with hiring managers to:
- Creating individualized job postings
- Leading the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position
- Efficiently fill open positions conducting regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation
- Proactively source to develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need
- Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate outreach
- Building networks to find qualified passive candidates
- Responsible for posting and maintaining job openings across multiple channels, such as professional organizations, job boards, and other position appropriate venues.
- Works with the Marketing Team to improve the company recruiting page to assist in recruiting, researching new ways of using the Internet for recruitment, and using social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.
- Responsible for administrative and record keeping duties such as:
- Reviewing applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements
- Conducting initial phone screens
- Maintaining all pertinent applicant and interview data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Crafting rejection letters
- Develop, coordinate, and maintain special employment projects/programs such as: internship and externship programs, temporary and permanent placement agency agreements, mentorship program, and workforce planning
- Performs all job functions in compliance with applicable federal, state, local and company policies and procedures.
Skills and Experience
- 3-5 years recruitment experience
- 2+ years' experience in health care recruitment
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service/relations skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Possesses the appropriate knowledge base to present the organization practice opportunity to a candidate
- Knowledge of healthcare systems, as well as the health insurance industry
- Ability to exercise initiative, judgment, discretion and decision-making consistent with the departmental and organizational objectives
- Ability to work with a high degree of independence and prioritize own workflow
- Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills.
- Excellent computer skills
- General knowledge of various employment laws and practices
- Ability to work cross-functionally and foster collaboration
- Skills in database management and record keeping
- Ability to act as a partner and maintain the highly confidential and sensitive nature of human resources work
- Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gather and analyze information skillfully, and demonstrate resourcefulness and initiative in dealing with daily assumptions
