About the role:

Airtm’s Legal team is looking for an attorney to support Airtm’s growing business, including product, regulatory, licensing, corporate, and compliance matters. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, an inquisitive approach, exceptional organizational skills, a practical problem-solving approach, and thrive taking on new challenges. What you’ll be responsible for:

-Be a key utility player on the Legal team, counseling the organization on high profile, mission-critical projects across the Company in areas including growth and marketing, licensing, filings and regulatory examination preparation, contract management, consumer privacy and compliance initiatives.

-Day one exposure to leadership and as much responsibility as you can handle.

-Responsibilities may include:

a)Assisting in regulatory research and analysis in the digital assets space.

b)Support with licensing efforts and other strategic regulatory initiatives, with a particular focus in Latin America.

c)Assisting with the drafting and negotiation of contracts with vendors and commercial partners.

d)Assisting the Legal and Compliance teams with the review of advertising and marketing materials to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, with a particular focus in Latin America.

e)Assisting with the design of new products, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, with a particular focus in Latin America.

f)Supporting our People team on employment matters.

g)Supporting the Company on corporate matters including BAU governance, as well as financing and corporate structure projects.

Experience & skills:

  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Interest or experience in emerging technologies and/or crypto.
  • Detail-oriented legal project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing projects to effective resolution.
  • Experience with financial regulation and/or digital assets regulation is preferred but not essential.
  • 2+ years of related experience either in-house at a tech or financial/digital assets firm, or at a leading law firm.
  • Proven ability to work with teams of multiple stakeholders as well as independently with limited guidance as a natural self-starter.
  • Exceptional professionalism; strong work ethic; desire to learn and grow; and the flexibility needed to thrive in an innovative and fast-paced business environment.
