Creative Design Manager

The Role
If you're a Creative Design Manager, with a passion for design and a creative spirit, we want you to be part of our mission to make cybersecurity education accessible and engaging for millions of learners worldwide.
You’ll lead our talented design team (of two) in creating visually stunning content for our rapidly growing online cyber security training platform. As well as being hands-on, you will collaborate with teams across the business to deliver consistent and impactful designs across various channels, and play a pivotal role in evolving our brand.
TryHackMe’s creative design team uses the following tools and services:
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe After Effects
- Lottie (animations)
Your responsibilities as Creative Manager will include:
- Recruit, manage and lead creative designers.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, content engineering, and product teams to create and check designs to ensure creative output is consistent and messages land appropriately with customers
- Develop high-quality illustrations and designs for training courses, social media posts, blogs, landing pages and more
- Oversee project management aspects, ensuring deadlines are met, and projects are executed efficiently within the creative design team.
- Create visuals, brainstorm concepts, work with team members and department leads to develop concepts, and ensure that the final product is aligned with the company standards
- Continuously update the brand guidelines to stay on top of design developments as the company grows and evolves
- Oversee that new techniques and processes are used to provide best quality of designs
- Design assets for presentations, brochures and emails that aligns to our brand style
Skills & Requirements
- 3+ years experience managing a team of designers to consistently meet company goals
- Have strong graphic design foundations mindful of typography, color usage, and visual hierarchy.
- A passion for branding and a collaborative spirit
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, with a particular focus on Adobe Illustrator
- Exceptional creativity and innovation
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Fluent in English

Our Hiring Process:
Stage One: Introduction call to gauge experience and culture fit (30 minutes)
Stage Two: Take home design task (1h)
Stage Three: Task review and scenario-based discussions to evaluate management experience (1h)
