Creative Project Manager, Channel Marketing

The Brand & Content Marketing team is looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee creative, content, and design projects. With a focus on our hospital, breeder, shelter, and partner brand channels, this role is responsible for working with our team leads to assess new projects & campaigns, determine priorities, and determine appropriate resourcing and scheduling. For the projects you lead, you will manage end-to-end delivery of creative work, ensuring scope, timelines, milestones, and reviews are met, and making sure the creative team is on track.

As part of a new team within a fast-growing company, this role will help shape our creative process and operating model. A key part of this role is working partner teams and business leads to understand business needs & goals—you understand the ability of strong creative work to deliver measurable business impact. The right candidate thrives on leading through ambiguity and has experience specifically working with creative teams and business owners, knowing how to speak both languages.

What You’ll Do

  • Assess channel creative projects, brand campaigns, and other creative requests to assess size, complexity, scope, resourcing, and timelines.
  • Produce and track project schedules, tracking timelines for creative production, review cycles, and final asset delivery.
  • Flag where/when similar or overlapping projects occur to consolidate business needs & asset requests
  • Help creative team turn a campaign brief or work request into an actionable set of activities
  • Schedule creative reviews and other project meetings, ensuring the right attendees are present, clear feedback is captured, and next steps identified
  • Manage integrated project timelines and ensure all key milestones and due dates are communicated frequently to the full team and relevant agency partners
  • Anticipate and manage potential blockers across concept development, production, and delivery phases; flag to appropriate partners and proactively find solutions
  • Partner with production and agency teams to manage the delivery process for creative across digital, print, and other channels/platforms
  • Use team & partner feedback, retrospectives, and metrics to identify areas of opportunity for continuously improvement
  • Be a champion for creative workflow processes and tools to ensure consistency across the brand

Experience

  • A self-motivated, flexible individual with strong communication and partnership building skills
  • 3-4 years’ experience in creative project management within an advertising agency or brand side creative organization
  • Experience managing creative projects across all production and media channels (digital, editorial, audio, social, print, OOH and CRM)
  • Familiar with working across a large cross-functional team of stakeholders and driving alignment across all aspects of a creative project
  • Resilient through change; able to shift approaches when needed in response to changing priorities, business objectives, and other events
  • Someone who thrives in maintaining organization, finding efficiencies and building, improving and simplifying processes
  • Experienced in working with project management software/tools (Asana, Wrike, Workfront, or similar)

Compensation:

  • The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 on a full-time schedule
  • Along with the base salary, Trupanion employees may be eligible for monthly bonuses.
  • Trupanion may also provide Restricted Stock Units, which vest over 4 years
