JOB DESCRIPTION

The Customer Marketing Senior Specialist will be responsible for supporting the planning, execution and performance for two strategic program areas: the SAP Innovation Awards program which increases SAP’s global relevance by elevating the voice of SAP’s most innovative customers and partners; and the Ignite program that drives cloud customer success by designing and delivering data-driven adoption and consumption digital campaigns.

Expectations & Tasks:

Global Customer Advocacy and Events is looking for a creative, highly motivated, team player with a growth mindset to become a critical part of the Adoption and Success marketing team by supporting programs key to SAP priorities to drive adoption/consumption, loyalty and elevate customer success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the development and orchestration of the SAP Innovation Awards program plan. Work with program lead to drive alignment to program strategy and goals collaborating with global cross-functional teams and key stakeholders throughout various levels of the organization. Manage project plan, ensure virtual team drives workstream activities and deadlines to progress to each phase of the program. Ensure compliance in engaging with customers. Monitor full year budget, track adherence to spend guidelines and identify problem areas. Manage program performance and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute robust communication and amplification plan to promote SAP Innovation Awards program and customer stories. Build editorial calendar, work with copywriter to develop communications and customer story content. Architect and produce in-person and virtual events, plan executive sponsor communications, manage communications through team distribution lists, internal and external newsletters. Amplify Innovation Awards customer stories via SAP and third-party channels, blog sites, social, etc.
  • Support adoption and consumption campaigns for Ignite program. Leverage program strategies and customize campaigns for specific solutions. Work closely with solution subject-matter-experts to know and understand the target audience. Curate and create content to address unique challenges that customers face with solution adoption and consumption. Report on success and optimize campaigns by solution area and region.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4-7 years of marketing experience, with minimum 2-4 years in marketing execution
  • Working in a multi-national company
  • Experience in/with sales, customer success
  • Experience in B2B marketing
  • Experience in the IT industry
  • Project leadership (medium to large-scaled projects)

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 97,000 - 213,800 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
