Customer Reference Marketing Manager

To help us do this, we are looking for an experienced customer reference marketing manager who excels at turning enterprise customers and their impressive outcomes into public, consumable stories.

This is a new position that has the potential to make a huge impact on the marketing team and the entire company. This role will need to find new and creative ways to establish, manage and grow a customer reference program that supports the (public/external) marketing goals for the year.

This role can be remote, but the person must be open to traveling internationally.

Job Expectations

  • Establish what exceptional external customer advocacy looks like.
  • Responsible for working with the marketing and customer success teams to determine marketing needs and source/curate customer advocates for PUBLIC marketing and speaking opportunities (examples include: field events, press releases, industry analysts calls, marketing collateral and webinars).
  • Manage the lifecycle of sourcing customers to participate, helping to liaise on the opportunity, prepping them for the opportunity, potentially helping on-site, following up with a thank you, and entering/sharing all data and new resources back to the team.
  • Help define customer reference metrics/goals/benchmarks and track/report progress against them.
  • Foster and promote long-term, mutually beneficial customer relationships that respect our customer’s time and effort while maximizing the positive impact of their engagement to them, their organization, and Dataiku.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in customer reference marketing or related field
  • Proven ability of managing public references with enterprise customers
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Executive presence
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation systems (Salesforce, Asana, Airtable) not required but desiered
  • Familiarity with sales and marketing processes and techniques
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred
