2Modern is looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team. 2Modern is a fast-growing ecommerce company based in the San Francisco Bay Area (serving all of North America). Established in 2003, 2Modern is a leading retailer in modern furniture, lighting and home decor (Newsweek/Statista 2022 “Top Home Retailer”). We are authorized dealers for over 225+ coveted brands such as Knoll, Cappellini, Foscarini, Moooi, Tom Dixon, Bernhardt, Artemide, and more.

Position Summary

Team members are responsible for assisting customers through all phases of their 2Modern experience including but not limited to: initial inquiry, shipment, and post-delivery customer support. Candidate will be working within a fast-paced and dynamic customer support environment.   • Experience working with ecommerce, CRM systems, and fulfillment
  • Professional knowledge, experience and/or passion for the Design Industry is a plus

The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for:

  • Communicating with customers via phone, email, and chat
  • Liaising with vendors/brands to provide updates
  • Tracking and researching shipments and deliveries
  • Processing claims for damaged items
  • Requesting and issuing return authorizations
  • Processing order cancellations
  • Answering product related questions
  • Tracking, researching, and resolving order related issues in a timely and satisfactory manner

Hours: This position is full-time and is remote/telecommute, 40 hours a week to be worked, open to candidates with standard working hours (8AM-5PM Pacific Time, M-F) and alternative hours (evenings and/or weekends).
