Customer Success Senior Analyst (CORE)

Our Core team manages Marqeta’s fastest growing customer segment. As a Customer Success Senior Analyst, Core - Financial Services, you will be responsible for the success and growth of a Fintech-focused book of business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to meet the needs of your growing customers and serve as a strategic partner to their teams.
Your knowledge of payments combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities help shape the success of your account. You provide exceptional client service and consistently think one step ahead of your customer’s needs. You excel at problem solving and provide innovative approaches and deliver workable solutions. You persistently explore and uncover the business needs of your client to understand how Marqeta’s product offerings can grow their business. You move quickly but thoughtful, always thinking through the whole picture and desired result. You set the vision and the strategy for how modern card issuing and money movement can support your customer’s end users and closely partner with cross-functional teams in order to meet those goals.

What We’re Looking For
- Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to add strategic value to the team by identifying opportunities to drive business process improvements.
- Strong skill-set working with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, IF statements, SUMIFs, etc.).
- Develop and deliver high-impact presentation materials in Powerpoint/Google Slides, Word/Google Docs, and Excel/Google Sheets (QBRs, Executive Briefing Decks, process outlines, etc.).
- Ability to take ownership of analytical projects and see them to completion within a specified timeframe.
- Perform in-depth analysis to identify macro, business, technology, and pipeline trends for key customers.
- Working knowledge and experience with Salesforce.
- Superior communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, presentation, written, email).
- Possess unique analytical skills and creative problem-solving skills.
- Stellar ability to influence others in a matrix environment, gaining buy-in at multiple levels across the organization.
- Ability to prioritize, manage, and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously; highly motivated and able to work against aggressive schedules.
- Positive attitude, team player, adaptable, resourceful, and self-starter who is able to work independently.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation and Benefits in Marqeta’s Revenue Organization
Marqeta is a Flex First company which allows you to choose your best working environment, whether that be from home or at a company office. To support Flex First, we calibrate pay to a competitive value according to working location. Compensation is aligned according to three tiers within the United States:
- National: A baseline tier that applies to most of the geographic territory of the United States.
- Premium: Slightly elevated from the National tier, and oriented toward a narrower set of higher cost-of-living areas, such as Los Angeles CA and Seattle WA
- Premium Plus: A tier for the most expensive working areas, like the San Francisco Bay area and New York City.

Within our Revenue organization at Marqeta, On Target Earnings (OTE) is composed of a mix between annual salary and variable compensation, which is earned based on your individual performance and that of your immediate team.
When determining an OTE figure we consider several factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior experience, and work location. The new-hire base OTE range for this position is:
- National: $93,825 - $125,100
- Premium: $99,038 - $132,050
- Premium Plus: $104,250 - $139,000
