Organizational Mission:

As the leading global bank, Citi has a heightened responsibility to keep its customers safe. The Cybersecurity Fusion Center (CSFC) is on the front lines of that effort. The CSFC coordinates Citi’s cybersecurity organizational response to protect Citi and its customers from cyber threats. Citi is at the forefront of Cyber Fusion in financial services and leverages a data-driven, “technology first” approach to determine, inform, respond to, and govern overall cybersecurity threats to Citi.

Team Mission:

The Cybersecurity Fusion Center Strategic Initiatives team leads change through a variety of programs, processes, and technology to equip the bank with innovative, market-leading capabilities that make Citi the most effective cyber defense organization in its industry. The Strategic Initiatives project and product management teams introduce and manage capabilities critical to Citi’s internal cyber defense organizations. This includes a wide-spectrum of transformation processes, including process re-engineering and best-in-class security tool sourcing, implementation, and integration.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages deployed cybersecurity products and leads new product implementations
  • Coordinates with stakeholders to swiftly remediate defects that block CSFC activities
  • Manages the CSFC product roadmap and prioritizes feature requests
  • Informs wider CSFC product management efforts
  • Support consensus-building across teams for transformative projects, developing products to secure buy-in from both senior stakeholders while working directly with teams responsible for execution
  • Research market and peer cyber capabilities and best practices. Develop and organize insightful, relevant commentary to be shared with broader team and senior executives for potential implementation at Citi
  • Evaluate systems and processes spanning multiple CSFC teams to ensure maximum efficacy and relevancy
  • Liaise with internal and external parties (e.g., peer institutions, security vendors, service vendors, auditors, etc.)

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably with a cybersecurity focus
  • Experience in managing complex backlogs
  • Working knowledge of agile methodologies, vendor engagement, and experience with managing consulting engagements
  • Given the nature of the CSFC and the challenges it faces, the ideal candidate should be passionate about cyber security. A familiarity of operating systems, basic networking, common security tools, and knowledge of cyber security industry technical terms is preferred
  • High attention to detail and work quality with the ability to focus on complex problems for a sustained period
  • Strong and efficient Excel and PowerPoint abilities required
  • Demonstrable interest in innovation and disruption to improve systems and processes
  • Highly motivated, with the ability to own tasks and execute on management direction and guidance with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build consensus and secure buy-in from multiple levels of stakeholders and peer teams
  • Diverse problem-solving experience gained from driving change-leadership activities
  • Ability to structure less defined requirements into measurable tasks and milestones
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams across silos and organizations
  • Superior organization and experience managing many tasks and dynamic priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to perform under tight deadlines and deliver high-visibility products

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree preferred
