Cybersecurity Engineer
Stargazr is an enterprise planning startup that brings together developers and financial analysts to create the future of finance by combining machine learning and analytic models. As a Cybersecurity intern, you will foster the development of new features in a SaaS solution that will transform the way businesses are steered for decades to come and lead other developers with this goal. We cultivate a natural environment in which self-motivated individuals thrive.
👽 Job role
During the development of this 6-month internship, you will develop the security infrastructure and processes required to make Stargazr comply with the highest standards of ISO 27001 and SOC-2. You will collaborate with our security compliance vendor and our team will train you with day-to-day work reviews and weekly meetings with the team.
Some of the main tasks you will have to perform are:
- Isolating our processes into containers and integrating automated deploys to ensure availability and security.
- Define secure internal processes (both computer and human based).
- Collaborate with our vendor to get everything ready before the ISO certification day.
- Learning and researching about security tools and best practices.
- Help educating our non-tecnical personnel into security awareness.
📜 Requirements
To apply for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
- 1 year or less remaining to complete a BSc in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Notions on continuous integration, security and server management.
- Skills in *nix (mainly Debian) environments and AWS.
- Knowledge of container systems.
- Ability to communicate with the engineering team in English.
- Live in a country with timezone GMT-1, GMT, GMT+1 or GMT+2 (note that if the country is not Spain or Germany we can only offer a freelancer contract through Deel).
