We are looking for a successful sales professional with a strong hunter mindset who has experience winning new business and establishing a sales program. 

Job Description 

We are seeking a results-driven Sales Director to join our entrepreneurial business team to further develop targeted prospects, build a scalable sales organization and to participate in our next stage of growth. We are seeking candidates with a successful track record of selling solutions (professional services) within large complex organizations at Director, VP, General Counsel, and C Suite levels.  

Candidates will have a minimum of 5-10+ years of applicable experience; be assertive, competitive, resilient sales professionals with excellent business acumen; have the network and supporting strategies to gain access at executive and management levels and guide top down-bottom up sales processes. We seek a driven individual performer/team leader and participant. Experience in selling cybersecurity / privacy consulting engagements a plus. 

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Establish and foster relationships in strategic accounts 
  • Meet or exceed sales quotas 
  • Cross Sell, leverage existing relationships with current clients to create new business 
  • Develop prospect and supporting contact lists aligned with our Go To Market Strategy 
  • Qualify prospects, secure appointments, develop/support opportunities and monitor opportunity stage advancement. 
  • Demonstrate and explain the benefits and values of our solutions and products at prospect locations and industry events 
  • Manage and participate directly in the production of our proposals and shepherd these through internal and the customer’s review processes 
  • Negotiate and close contracts 
  • Follow up with clients after the sale is closed to make sure we are meeting expectations 
  • Considered by client to be part of their business team 
  • Owns client relationship with a focus on account management and retention 
  • Skilled at managing politically challenging situations 
  • Owns overall RFP responses and large SOWs 
  • Mature and develop sales processes 
  • Develop sales process supporting reports, define key performance indicators, and pipeline management 
  • Contribute to review of standing Go To Market strategy, suggest adjustments, gain buy-in, train and adopt 
  • Develop sales team and partner program. Reinforce how we measure, monitor and manage success via goals and KPIs. Maintain active candidate pool. Responsible for hiring, training and discipline as needed.   
  • Marketing > Messaging and collateral generation, campaign support, presentation deck development and performance therein, social selling strategies and outreach. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent  
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal, written, and customer interfacing skills 
  • Ability to establish and foster relationships in strategic accounts 
  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in sales 
  • Demonstrated leadership skills 
  • High degree of integrity 
  • High attention to detail 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite 
  • Ability to work remotely (Teams) 
  • Ability to travel to client locations in North America 
  • Strong process documentation and reporting capabilities 
  • Significant and proven experience developing relationships with senior executives. 
  • An aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems 
  • Ability to explain complicated concepts to a variety of audiences and skill levels 
  • Strong time management, organizational and decision-making skills 
  • Self-motivated ability to work independently and as part of a team 
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, both internally and externally 
  • Possess the drive to succeed and to participate in the growth of an exciting, fast-paced company 

Compensation 

  • Base salary of $120k to $150k 
  • Performance based incentives bringing total comp to $180k to $225k> performance based consideration will evolve over time. Initially you have the individual contributor/quota angle, then a team contribution and eventually, tie them into the overarching strategic business objectives (EBITDA based bonus)
