THE ROLE
As a ScyllaDB DBA / Architect, you will be supporting ScyllaDB infrastructure in production and testing setups, across public and private cloud environments.
Job Description:
- Administering ScyllaDB in on-premises data centers.
- Administering ScyllaDB in public cloud (AWS).
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining database observability policies.
- Ensuring high availability of the databases.
- Leading ScyllaDB troubleshooting efforts.
- Architecture and execution of database load and performance testing.
- Creating, maintaining, and automating incident response policies.
- Designing database configuration and setup for high availability, performance, and throughput.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of NoSQL database operations and management.
- 5+ years of experience operating high scale ScyllaDB infrastructure.
- Demonstrated expertise in database (ScyllaDB) performance tuning and optimization.
- Strong knowledge and experience in data modeling and NoSQL database design.
- Experience with database clustering, high availability, replication.
- Experience in data model design.
COMPENSATION RANGE
The compensation range for this role is $170,000.00 - $220,000.00, depending on location and experience.
