Debit Card Product Manager - Hybrid
Full Job Description
The Debit Card Product Manager will primarily be responsible for managing how the ordering, and the distribution of Citibank's Debit Cards for the US Retail bank is processed. The position is part of Citi’s Retail Payments team which manages payments across business lines including Personal Banking, Citigold, Citigold Private Clients, Citi Private Bank and Small Business. The team is organized into 3 groups namely Core Payments, Instant Payments & Debit Cards. This role will be reporting to the Debit Cards Head. The opportunities and challenges for retail payments in the next 18-24 months are immense and this role will help Retail Payments become more effective in achieving improved performance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the distribution of Citibank Debit cards, Card carrier, and associated PIN mailers for the US Retail bank.
- Manage third party relationship with our Third Party PIN mailer provider, TSYS.
- Partner with Branch, Call Center, and Digital teams to build a roadmap to streamline the ordering and delivery process of our debit cards.
- Partner with Retail Segment teams on any card design modifications, delivery modifications, changes to card carriers or new cards/carriers needed for new banking products.
- Assist Debit Card product team with delivering on initiatives that focus on increasing debit card engagement and usage.
Qualifications:
- 4-7 years of relevant experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for a senior audience with the ability to take
- the lead in broad cross-functional groups
- High self-motivation and willingness to learn and adapt in an agile environment
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree preferred
