As a member of the SafeBase marketing team, our first Demand Gen Manager will help ensure we put the SafeBase brand in front of our target audience to support our growth goals. This role is responsible for the development of all demand and lead generation efforts as well as the nurture and hand off process. What you’ll do

  • Work with the head of marketing to set the foundation for our demand gen function and build a scalable demand gen to support our growth goals
  • Manage all aspects of SafeBase’s demand gen efforts including but not limited to paid search, paid social, display, events, nurture campaigns, integrated marketing initiatives, and referral programs
  • Develop and put in place customer acquisition strategies that improve and increase lead volume and quality based on defined pipeline and efficiency goals
  • Manage campaigns on a day-to-day basis and optimize for quality and continuous improvement by monitoring the performance to ensure the converted leads are effective
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across sales, marketing, CS, and executive teams to devote proper resources to meet demand generation goals
  • Develop and manage our ABM activities to increase personalized marketing efforts within desired buyer personas and qualified organizations
  • Work with our marketing ops manager to develop and refine a lead scoring model and analyze pipeline to identify lead gen vehicles for driving incremental revenue
  • Develop a demand gen strategy for events (industry, field events, conferences, webinars, etc), and work alongside the marketing team to establish event objectives, budget, and schedule
  • Analyze and recommend optimal engagement across each event and provide on-going evaluation on how to adapt for our current and future revenue generating and brand positioning needs
  • Manage, measure, and report on effectiveness of demand activities, including key metrics, KPIs and benchmarks, on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis

Who you are

  • 5-7 years of experience in B2B SaaS focused on demand gen, ABM, or growth marketing (security and compliance b2b experience is a plus)
  • Experience managing a variety of marketing channels (ABM, paid media, social, referral, etc.), creating campaigns to emphasize awareness, lead generation, and conversion
  • Understanding of how demand gen efforts support the full customer journey, including both revenue generation and brand building
  • Track record of data oriented decision-making, optimizing campaigns based on performance
  • Experience managing external and hosted event engagements and sponsorships
  • Ability to multi-task and manage several assignments at a time from multiple people and to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision and follow through on deadlines
  • Hands-on knowledge of 6Sense or Demandbase, HubSpot, and Salesforce preferred
  • You balance right-brain creativity with left-brain analytical thinking
  • You have a growth mindset and embrace constructive feedback about your work
  • You natively speak B2B SaaS technology marketing – hypergrowth and start-up/scale-up experience are a plus

This role reports to the Head of Marketing and can be fully remote.
