About the Team
Our Brand Design Team focuses on three major areas to express the Aurora brand internally and externally: communications and promotional design, our marketing website and the art direction for ongoing marketing campaigns and initiatives. Our team takes a hands-on approach to working with our marketing partners and helps to ideate, iterate, and execute on design problems. We take a systematic approach to design and always look to scale our impact by thinking not just about design project by project but by looking at our brand experience as a whole.
About the Role
In this role, you’ll develop strategic and dynamic content that best conveys the values of our brand and engages key audiences across a wide range of digital and offline channels. The right designer for this role will have worked with traditional print promotions, digital promotions, web design, and interaction design, and designed for physical spaces like conferences and events.
Your Impact
- Partner with Marketing and Design teams to create materials that build brand awareness and drive engagement
- Use visual storytelling to showcase our brand point of difference and inspire our customers and broader solar community
- Conceptualize and craft creative brand experiences (annual virtual summit, trade shows, advertising, marketing products, website experiences and integrated campaigns)
- Understand team requirements and produce outstanding creative assets for both digital and offline platforms
- Manage and prioritize a workload of multiple design projects from concept to completion including banner ads, email, landing pages, infographics, ebooks, videos, direct marketing, print, trade show design, and sales enablement (presentations, brochures, collateral)
- Ensure brand consistency across all your work and utilize customer insights and data to inform marketing design strategy, increase engagement and conversion
- Develop resources, guidelines, and templates that empower cross-functional teams to create thoughtful brand expressions
What You Bring
- 8+ years experience designing for an in-house creative department, agency, or as an independent full-service designer
- Ability to make design decisions while reaching agreement with multiple parties
- Strong design and art direction skills for static and dynamic mediums
- Strong craft skills in typography, composition, iconography, and color
- Ability to work on multiple projects and execute all with high standards
- Exceptional portfolio with real-world examples demonstrating a strong record of branding, communication design, promotion, and environmental design
- Fluent with Adobe Creative Suite design, photo and video software, and Figma
Nice to Haves
- Experience with or an interest in learning 3D (Blender/ C4D)
- Bilingual or multilingual (Spanish, German, or French)
