Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Designer to join our UI/UX Design department. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating and maintaining design systems, managing a team of designers, and implementing processes to enhance team output and satisfaction. Your contribution will ensure the highest standards of design excellence and user satisfaction in our clients' products.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership and Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of designers, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, design reviews, and one-on-one sessions to ensure continuous improvement and high-quality output.
  • Facilitate collaboration and communication within the design team and across departments.

2. Design System Creation and Maintenance:

  • Maintain and enhance a comprehensive design system that ensures consistency across all products.
  • Collaborate with our client and create and update design guidelines, UI components, and patterns.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the design system meets the needs of various projects.

3. Leveraging AI in Design:

  • Integrate AI technologies into the design process to improve efficiency and innovation.
  • Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Google Bard, or other AI tools to improve user research, design generation, and data generation.
  • Stay updated with AI trends and incorporate best practices into the design strategy.

4. UX Design Strategy and Client Interaction:

  • Develop and implement UX design strategies for intricate B2B products.
  • Work directly with North American clients to ensure satisfaction and align UX strategies with business goals.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple UX projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.

5. Design Conceptualization and Communication:

  • Conceptualize solutions and create detailed mock-ups and prototypes.
  • Communicate design decisions effectively to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding.
  • Stay updated with the latest UX trends and best practices, encouraging continuous learning within the team.

Requirements

1. Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Figma design tool.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, UI/UX best practices, and accessibility standards.
  • Experience with creating and maintaining design systems.

2. Leadership Skills:

  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team of designers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor team members.

3. Process and Project Management:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to implement and refine design processes.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).

4. Interpersonal Skills:

  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Willing to work in a fast-paced design agency.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Adaptability and willingness to embrace change and continuous improvement.

5. Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX/UI design, with at least 2 year in a leadership role.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your design work in B2B or SaaS products.
