DevOps Configuration Manager

Dark Wolf Solutions is looking for a DevOps Configuration Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for staging computer program builds within the customers PaaS and deliver them to support Combat Systems Engineering Development Sites and other Government site testing. Additionally, you will support the NAVY Forge Software Factory with Systems Engineering and Integration. This position will help the Software Factory in its mission of developing meaningful software, testing the software, and getting it to the Warfighter in a timely manner. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Stage computer program builds within the customer PaaS
  • Deliver computer programs to support Combat Systems Engineering Development Site and other Government site testing
  • Ensure the weapon and combat system functionality inclusive of the customer capability meet the Government approved combat system A-Spec
  • Develop automated testing within the customer PaaS
  • Insure programs and automated testing supports DevSecOps principles and hardware-in-the-loop facilities

Required Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years experience deploying containerized workloads to custom PaaS solutions for integrated testing
  • Experience testing system functionalities to fit government requirements and issued Spec
  • Experience testing Combat Systems Engineering Development Site and other Government site testing
  • Creation and testing of automated suites within a custom PaaS environment
  • Experience following DevSecOps principals and operating in DevOps environments
  • 3-5 years with System Engineering and Integration for DoD clients
  • High School Diploma with 5 years of relevant experience OR Bachelor's degree in related field with 3 years of relevant experience CI/CD methodologies, workflows, and configuration management and technical troubleshooting skills for system performance and connectivity issues
  • US Citizenship and Active DOD Secret Security Clearance, with ability to obtain Top Secret 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Delivering to CSEDS and/ or other government sites
  • Experience testing products on hardware-in-the-loop facilities
  • Working in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) 
  • Experience supporting Navy Software Factories
  • Delivering and testing meaningful software to support DoD clients

The work for this position is based out of College Park, MD but will likely be able to be supported on a primarily remote basis. 

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $130,000.00, commensurate on years of experience and technical skillset.
