DevOps Engineer (Analytics)

We are looking for a professional DevOps (Analytics) Engineer to help us maintain the best performing hosting architecture on the market. The DevOps engineer will report to the DevOps Team Lead.

What You Will Do:

  • Design, build, and maintain our data infrastructure, including a large self hosted Elasticsearch cluster.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines that extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our Elasticsearch cluster.
  • Ensure data quality, security, and scalability. (Kafka, Zookeeper, ES)
  • Work closely with software engineering teams to understand their data needs and provide solutions that meet those needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest data technologies and best practices.

What You Bring To The Table:

  • 2+ years of experience with ElasticSearch and the ELK stack
  • Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
  • Familiarity with other logging and monitoring solutions (eg.: Google cloud Logging, GCP BigQuery, Graffana, Datadog, Prometheus, Zabbix, ...)
  • (Bonus) Experience with other Elastic products and Kafka
  • (Bonus) Familiarity with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration services
  • (Bonus) Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language such as Python, Javascript (node.js), Bash, Ansible (yml)
