Role
Prelude is seeking our next DevOps Engineer to partner with our small team in helping scale our infrastructure. You will collaborate with other engineers to solve complex technical problems and push us to increase our productivity by introducing automation and reliability in our infrastructures to improve our system stability, security, and monitoring.
Our ideal candidate has a strong sense of ownership coupled with a passion for building secure, high availability cloud infrastructure. A successful candidate will be able to take our infrastructure to the next level, scaling our existing systems for rapid growth across tens of thousands of agents.
Job Duties
- Support and develop secure automation solutions that enable our agile software teams to build and deploy code efficiently and consistently
- Build and support a CI/CD infrastructure GitHub, Travis, Jenkins, AWS, etc.
- Implement monitoring processes & design/build/deploy monitoring dashboards for centralized logging and SIEM systems
- Ensure that applications have reliability and availability appropriate for customer needs
- Prepare and present design and implementation documentation to effectively communicate to a broad audience of peers, users, and other stakeholders
- Maintain the stability and security of our production websites and systems
- Identify needs and resources for our infrastructure to grow at scale
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years experience in a DevOps role working on modern web applications and/or SaaS applications
- Significant AWS experience (ie utilizing services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Route53, CodeBuild/Deploy/Pipeline, CloudWatch, Config, Systems Manager, IAM, CloudFormation)
- Expertise with Linux + bash scripts
- Programming skills (Python preferred)
- Experience working in a startup environment
