You will be doing:
- Building, implementing, and maintaining adequate monitoring system.
- Defining and developing strategies to improve system stability.
- Automating continuous integration, infrastructure buildouts and deployments for web, database, and application servers and containers with an emphasis on scale.
- Dockerizing applications and implement automated CI/CD process using Kubernetes.
- Responding to exceptional and emergency situations.
- Defining and developing strategies for systems logging, monitoring, and reporting to facilitate pro-active service repair and resource allocation planning.
- Developing infrastructure, identifying, and mitigating risks and issues.
- Actively monitoring, tracking, and managing project tasks, timelines, attainment of established milestones and overall quality of project activities and deliverables.
Your expertise to meet the requirement:
- Should have work experience in a similar position - from 3+ years
- Must have experience in working with Kubernetes
- Should have experience in building DevOps infrastructure (Terraform, Helm, GitHub-actions)
- Should have experience in Ansible
- Should have experience in one or more scripting languages (Bash, Python)
- Should have knowledge of Linux systems - at the level of the system administrator
- Should have an understanding about the principles of working with highly loaded web applications
- Must have some understanding about the principles of the DBMS
What will be a plus:
- Knowledge of Prometheus / Grafana
- Experience in using NoSQL solutions (MongoDB, Redis)
- Knowledge of RabbitMQ
- Knowledge of Postgresql
