Devops Lead
Roles/Responsibilities
- Design, lead and build an automated deployment tool set and infrastructure including environments, code management, CI and CD process.
- Help define and set best practices for code management, build, deploy and release across multiple teams/products in CI /CD model using AWS Services like EC2, S3, ECS, Lamda etc
- Implementing CI/CD solutions (not CI Theatre) with supporting practices such as unit testing and trunk-based development.
- Implementing infrastructure as code.
- Working closely with customer IT team for design decision making.
- Working closely with offshore team for handshakes both ways
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, daily stand-up calls, retrospection and all other agile ceremonies.
Required Qualifications
- Total experience 8-10 years in devops.
- Experience in Cloud-native platform (Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes, CI/CD), AWS tools and cloud technologies/services knowledge (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Project lifecycle/ processes
- Agile methodology/Kanban/Scrum
- Architecture and software design knowledge is a plus
Mandatory Technical skills required :
- AWS Generic concepts and AWS EC2 instances
- Docker/Docker containers
- Kubernetes - deployments, configmaps, secrets
- GitHub and git commands
Good to have Knowledge:
- BigPanda
- Rancher
- Concourse
- Harbor or DTR
