DUTIES: AT&T Services, Inc., is seeking a DevOps Professional-Software Engineer in Dallas, TX (& various unanticipated locations throughout the US; may work from home) responsible for driving the strategic direction of the overall Network Services platform operations and how application enhancements are architected to achieve resiliency, supportability, and stability. Research, define and design architecture. Investigate options, collaborate with peers and cross-organization on investigation. Analyze the pros/cons of technology options, document finding and provide recommendations to drive many of the most difficult technical delivery issues to materially remove risk (quality and timeline) from project delivery and on-going support. Review and analyze data to identify blockage processes and root cause issues. Enhance system and software performance and ensure stabilization by creating and implementing permanent solutions. Execute a joint development and operations delivery model. Ensure non-functional requirements are taken care as part of the overall infrastructure as code deliverables given to operations team. Implement feature design, collaborate with peers and client on implementation options, around infrastructure and CI/CD decisions, for real-time feedback, and tests. Provide demos of functionality to client along with necessary documentation. Work on a DevOps and Agile model. Mentor and provide leadership to team, peers and partners from software engineering team. Utilize Kubernetes, Azure, AKS, Docker, Azure DevOps, Openstack, Terraform, ArgoCD, Chef, Jenkins, JDK, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Cassandra and Apache.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 4 years of experience in the job offered or 4 years of experience in a related occupation utilizing Kubernetes, Azure, AKS, Docker, Azure DevOps, Openstack, Terraform, ArgoCD, Chef, Jenkins, JDK, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Cassandra and Apache.

In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or Computer Engineering, Employer will accept 2 additional years of experience in the job offered or 2 additional years of experience in a related occupation utilizing Kubernetes, Azure, AKS, Docker, Azure DevOps, Openstack, Terraform, ArgoCD, Chef, Jenkins, JDK, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Cassandra and Apache.

Our DevOps Professional- Software Engineer s earn between $187,907 – $210,100 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
