This is a position for the Space Software Product
Line (SSPL) organization as a DevSecOps
Software Engineer Asc.
SSPL is transforming how LM designs, develops
and delivers spacecraft software. Our team
supports NASA deep space missions, Global
Positioning System (GPS) satellites, the U.S.
Intelligence Community, and many other
customers. This includes leveraging the latest
DevSecOps tools and methodologies to quickly,
efficiently, and repeatably deliver value to our
customers.
The selected candidate will join the SSPL team
and support multiple efforts related to
DevSecOps development, implementation, and
maintenance. The candidate will be instrumental
in integrating vehicle, payload, mission, and
platform software for various programs. The
candidate will be a "systems thinker" who will
help mature SSPL’s DevSecOps plan across all
software product lines. Additionally, the
candidate will help mature SSPL’s DevSecOps
implementation and have a desire to automate
processes rather than doing them twice.

Basic Qualifications:
- Understanding of DevSecOps, Test-Driven
Development, CI/CD, Containerization, and
Infrastructure as Code
- Experience on a software development team
using Agile and DevSecOps practices
- Python development experience
- Experience with Open Container Initiative
Tools, i.e. Docker
Desired Skills:
- Experience using and maintaining artifact
Experience using and maintaining CI Tools, i.e.
GitLab, Jenkins
- Ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret
clearance
- Experience with automated build, testing, and
continuous deployment
- Knowledge and experience with Distributed
Version Control Systems
- Experience in software configuration
management
- Experience with static code analysis tools
and/or code linting tools
- Experience in Cloud Native technologies:
Kubernetes, Rancher, Packer, Terraform, Ansible,
Helm
- Experience leading/coaching others in
implementation of DevSecOps
- Experience using Test-Driven
Development
- Experience in designing/testing software from
a systems engineering perspective
- Experience developing software in a compiled
language, i.e. C++
- Experience with unit testing frameworks and
code coverage tools, i.e. googletest, pytest,
gcov/lcov
- Experience managing DevSecOps toolchains
and open source technologies

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
