Digital Content Writer
Job Description
We are looking for a digital content writer to join our branding and content marketing team and enrich our brand by producing high-quality copy that is designed to drive engagement and ultimately capture someone's attention. This would include product pages, landing pages, as well as blog content and e-newsletters. Since we are a supplement brand, we would prefer someone who has a strong interest in health and wellness.

Ultimately, you’ll deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our audience, attract customers, and boost brand awareness.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Providing and conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types and proofreading articles before publication.
- Writing engaging content for blogs, newsletters, social channels, video scripts, infographics, and other assets.
- Optimizing content for SEO and accessibility.
- Editing content to ensure voice, grammar and style is on point.
- Staying up to date on industry trends to support content development.
- Distilling complex concepts and language into content that is easily understood.
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging, branding, and style.

Required Skills/Abilities
- Proven work experience as a content writer, or copywriter, or similar role.
- Portfolio of published articles.
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English and the role involves overseeing proofreading of content. Familiarity with AP Stylebook is a must.
- Create content that motivates, inspires, educates, informs, sells, and simply, provides information, across a wide variety of digital platforms.
- Work closely with the content marketing team to produce content that generates results, e.g. A+ Amazon copy, ad copy, direct marketing copy on collateral materials.
- Experience doing research, identifying credible sources, and a strong familiarity with web publications.
- Hands-on experience with content management systems (e.g. Shopify and WordPress).
- Understanding grammar rules and how to construct clear sentences. Being mindful of things like flow, readability, and sentence variety.
- Have some knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) best practices — understand how search engines work, be able to balance SEO keyword density, and what we need to do to gain new audiences as well as retain them.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in mass communications, marketing, literature, journalism, or related field.
- At least seven years of hands-on experience in digital marketing or content creation. ** **
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. ** **
