Job Description:
The Role
The Digital Designer will be an integrated member of the Employer Brand and Talent Marketing team within Talent Acquisition in Enterprise HR. This person will play a key role in visually communicating Fidelity’s employer brand and recruitment advertising campaigns across web, email, social, events and print efforts. Working closely with our web developer, marketing and social media teams, this individual will be responsible for creative concepting and design implementation of visually appealing assets and digital experiences that support Fidelity’s talent acquisition goals.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
- Four-year degree with 3+ years’ experience working as a designer in a professional capacity
- A problem-solver with an understanding of user experience, who is excited about using design to communicate Fidelity’s employer brand and recruitment advertising campaigns
- A passion for information architecture and helping bring best-in class design principles to marketing assets and content for web, email, social media, digital advertising, events and print collateral
- Ability to use data and research to drive design decisions. Experience with collecting user feedback/performing UX research is a plus
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign a must; experience with Canva is a plus; knowledge of HTML and CSS is a bonus to assist our digital marketing and development team
- Desire to collaborate with web developer and digital marketing team to execute design concepts
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once with a superior level of detail orientation
- Passionate about teamwork with an appreciation for the value of diverse opinions and different skillsets
The Value You Deliver
- Ensure key marketing assets (web pages, email marketing, paid media assets, social media content and print materials) are visually appealing, in line with Fidelity employer brand standards and optimized for performance
- Participate and lead brainstorms along with marketing teams to generate creative ideas and produce assets that drive value
- Bring a design-thinking element to our marketing team, using design principles to tackling marketing and communication challenges
The Team
The Talent Marketing team drives Fidelity’s employer brand and how we communicate to prospective Fidelity employees via multiple channels including our events, programs, careers website, recruitment advertising and recruiting social media channels @FidelityJobs. You will be a critical player in ensuring an efficient and engaging candidate experience.
