Digital Marketing Manager
Where are we on our journey?
Incubated in Newcross Healthcare, FuturU is stepping out on its own with a small but brilliantly formed team. Today, we are a team of around 30 people and we are set to roughly double in the next 12 months. We are ambitious and growth focused, but we are also responsible and growing at a rate that is sustainable.
We are a true start up organisation, this means in lots of areas we are starting with a blank piece of paper. We think that’s exciting as there is no baggage to unpick, we get to experiment lots and we get to stretch our problem solving skills daily. It does mean we don’t yet have robust documentation, fixed ways of doing things or playbooks to follow.
Where does this role fit in?
You’ll be working with our Head of Marketing, who sits on the leadership team, and our fantastic agency partners to build and implement our digital strategy - both acquiring learners directly and through B2B customers. You’ll be the expert on all things digital: advertising, SEO, web, email marketing and social media. We are looking for someone who has enough experience to work both independently and with agencies to get channels up and running to a high standard. It’s a small team, so we all have to be willing to roll our sleeves up and pitch in where needed. You’ll also be working closely with our product, engineering and content teams to ensure a flawless digital experience.
What does success look like?
In 30 days you’ll be taking ownership of near-term digital goals. In 60 days you’ll be contributing to the build out of our mid-term plan. In 90 days you’ll be integral in shaping our strategy for the next 12-18 months, whilst always recognising we are an agile, experimental team and things might change. You’ll need to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution. We strive to be a data driven organisation and you’ll be right at the centre of helping us to shape that.
What experience do you need?
We believe experience is only half the story. A growth mindset, curious nature and a collaborative approach are essential. Ideally though, we’d like you to have the following:
- Both B2B and B2C digital campaign experience
- A good grip of Wordpress as a CMS
- SEO, SEM and landing page conversion
- HubSpot integration for automation and email campaigns
- Programmatic paid media and retargeting
- Digital to support event acquisition and conversion
However if you haven’t worked with these tools directly but have similar knowledge that’s fine too.
What can we offer?
We are a remote team so you can work at a place that suits you. We operate across different timezones so flexibility is built in. We focus on outcomes rather than presenteeism and aim for work/life harmony rather than balance. Kids, cats and dogs often show up on our Google Meet calls and we are fans of walking meetings when you don’t need to be at a screen. Of course we’ll supply you all the IT kit of your choosing. We offer a culture that’s supportive and encourages authenticity with inclusion at the heart of our decision making.
Most importantly, we are united in the mission to provide universal access to free healthcare education and we are unapologetically bold in our aims to transform the sector.
Please note we are unable to sponsor visas for this position so are only able accept applications from those with a right to work in the UK.
