This is a remote position that could be based anywhere in the United States or Canada.

As a Digital Marketing Strategist on our team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate across marketing disciplines to build, test and optimize digital initiatives with a goal of achieving business goals by engaging and converting visitors to our web properties. You’ll develop digital plans working with teams and agencies to execute creative ideas based on analytics, user feedback, and market and client insights. You’ll create experimentation and personalization plans to optimize digital journeys and improve overall performance.

Responsibilities and Duties

Build and continuously optimize a digital marketing journey for prospects and clients to achieve set business goals.

Own the on-domain digital user experience for segments and ensure best practices are put into place when designing a digital journey.

Leverage internal analytic systems to measure and report performance of digital marketing activities in support of campaigns.

Identify trends and insights, and optimize performance based on these learnings.

Create and manage a hypothesis-driven experimentation plan using A/B and multivariate testing to boost performance.

Collaborate with internal teams to improve our company’s digital presence and optimize the user experience.

Build better traffic with search engine optimization techniques.

Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners.

Stay up to date with on the latest trends and changes in digital marketing.

Qualifications

Calix requires all employees based in North America who will work onsite at a Calix office, attend in-person meetings, and/or travel on behalf of Calix to be fully vaccinated. Calix will consider requests for reasonable accommodations as required under applicable law.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications/Data Science or equivalent work experience.

Hands-on authoring experience with Adobe Experience Manager (Author & DAM).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrable skills and passion in web experience and digital marketing, including digital funnel optimization and the visitor web experience.

Hands-on experience with of web analytics and performance tools, including Google Analytics, heatmapping, and testing/personalization.

Experience with SEO using tools like SEMRush.

Willingness and ability to work in close collaboration with others to reach goals, and subordinate personnel agendas and recognize team performance.

Ability to work smart under pressure and efficiently on multiple project requests simultaneously in a fast-paced environment where tight deadlines and unexpected complexities can crop up.

Flexibility in work schedule and the willingness to travel (including potential after hours, weekend and holiday work).
