Please note that this role focuses on paid media strategy and planning. It does not work with content creation or creative projects.

What you’ll do

As a key client and people leader at Liquid, you'll:

  • Lead a team of 4-5 paid media planners and associates in strategizing and executing full-cycle media campaigns
  • Provide direction on day-to-day tasks, time management, and project workflows
  • Maintain strong client relationships, offering strategic insights and recommendations
  • Meet and exceed client expectations as their paid media subject matter expert
  • Work closely with our agency’s senior management team on strategy, client satisfaction, and other elements of success

Requirements

Your experience

Your profile should demonstrate solid experience as a senior individual contributor or supervisor in a modern digital advertising agency–

  • 4-6 years of media agency experience in paid digital media strategy and planning, including:
  • Leading day-to-day media strategy process from research and planning to execution and evaluation, ensuring campaigns meet client expectations
  • Managing complex client relationships and presenting fully-realized media campaigns and strategies
  • Collaborating with various agency departments and disciplines, such as creative, programmatic, and data teams
  • Strong project management, budget management, communication, and organizational skills
  • Client-facing presentations, including leading regular status calls, presenting media recommendations, and campaign analyses
  • Passion for staying updated on emerging trends, platforms, and best practices in the media industry
  • Managing experienced strategist- or planner- level individual contributors
  • Proficiency in audience and media research tools such as MRI, SRDS, GWI, SimilarWeb, and Pathmatics

  • Communication and presentation skills: Ability to convey ideas, insights, and recommendations effectively to clients, vendors, and internal teams both in writing and in person
  • Relationship building: Expertise in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, and peers, understanding their unique needs, and managing their expectations
  • Delegation and time management: Ability to effectively delegate tasks to team members while managing personal time and understanding the importance of tasks and their impact on the team's development
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking: Resourcefulness and skill in identifying and resolving challenges that may arise during the media planning, buying, and activation process, always backed by data and quickly shared with the team and managers

Benefits

The perks we offer

Base salary for this role is $75,000-$95,000 for the location in which this role is based. Actual salary offered will be based on location and experience.
