Please note that this role focuses on media strategy and buying and does not involve content creation or creative work.
You experience in strategy and planning for the UK digital media market will be a huge value-add for our team. On the strategy side, you'll have experience researching and presenting audiences for complex cross-channel media campaigns. In the planning arena, you've built relationships with UK regional media partners and know how to uncover amazing custom buys for clients. You'll play a strategic role in helping to bring video game titles to market and mentoring a team of experienced individual contributors.
Requirements
To join us in this highly responsible position, your profile should demonstrate current experience in modern digital advertising strategy and planning—
- 3-5 years of ad agency experience working with major clients on multi-channel digital media campaigns
- Experiencing training and mentoring associate/assistant level employees and/or experienced individual contributors
- Deep knowledge of audience research and planning tools, such as GWI, SimilarWeb, Pathmatics, SimmonsMRI, MediaOcean/Prisma, DV360, and others
- An excellent understanding of the UK and broader European media partner landscape
- Ability to teach others client invoicing, digital I/Os, audience planning, reporting, and other responsibilities
- Solid Excel-for-media and other analytics skills

- Communication and presentation skills: Ability to convey ideas, insights, and recommendations effectively to clients, vendors, and internal teams both in writing and in person
- Relationship building: Expertise in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, and peers, understanding their unique needs, and managing their expectations
- Delegation and time management: Ability to effectively delegate tasks to team members while managing personal time and understanding the importance of tasks and their impact on the team's development
- Problem-solving and critical thinking: Resourcefulness and skill in identifying and resolving challenges that may arise during the media planning, buying, and activation process, always backed by data and quickly shared with the team and managers
