Kimberly Clark Professional is looking for an experienced Senior Digital Specialist – Analytics & SEO to join the global marketing technology team. We’re seeking a candidate who has a passion for data analytics, campaign tracking and organic channel/SEO optimization tactics. This individual should be well-versed in on page SEO metadata optimizations, keyword ranking trends and monitoring, technical SEO, Google Analytics/GTM/DataStudio, JavaScript customization, tag/pixel management, compliance with data privacy regulations including GDPR, CCPA, etc. and enterprise analytics.

The Digital Specialist will report directly to the Global Director, Marketing Technology and will play an integral part in the future growth of the digital, omnichannel experience for customers and internal stakeholders. Responsibilities in this role will include managing and utilizing internal resources (SEO tools, SEMrush, Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics) organic traffic analysis and insights, illustrating gaps and opportunities for the website’s search engine optimization strategy. There will also be accountability to accelerate organic traffic growth and increase engagement of kcprofessional.com with market industries, product categories and customer segments. The team will also look to this role to execute actions based on SEO recommendations drive performance for KPIs with organic traffic growth and conversion.

Responsibilities

  • Working alongside web product team, marketing analytics leader, and data privacy team to steer and progress the analytics & data privacy roadmap.
  • Scoping and implementing tracking updates to our corporate web properties via Google Tag Manager.
  • Reviewing and analyzing KCP website, content strategy and customer-facing applications for areas that can be improved and optimized
  • Provide content strategy analysis and insights on keyword research, on-page tactics, and content development/optimization opportunities and gaps for the KCP website
  • Identifying keywords and phrase categories to drive the most valuable organic traffic
  • Implementing on-page SEO tactics for content and metadata optimization
  • Guiding our organization on the transition to Google Analytics 4.
  • Scoping and implementing updates to our website data layer.
  • Closing gaps in event tracking as identified by stakeholders.
  • Conducting audits of Google Tag Manager
  • Analyzing keywords and content strategies used by competitors.
  • Analyze the backlink profile to identify areas of interest for building links at scale.
  • Providing SEO / search engine guidance to digital product managers and content strategists.
  • Keyword research leading to both large-scale content recommendations and suggestions to drive content marketing strategy.
  • Identify opportunities for new traffic and recommending adjustments to taxonomy on a category-by-category basis.
  • Review website content with business stakeholders to highlight areas of improvement to increase SEO value.
  • Ensuring compliance of web analytics and marketing technology systems with corporate privacy policy and data privacy regulation.
  • Implementing Google Analytics and other tracking pixels for newly registered domains.
  • Installing new tracking snippets in coordination with the marketing analytics leader as requested by stakeholders.
  • Monitoring for emerging requirements and opportunities to streamline our tracking pixel infrastructure.
  • Supporting and providing data in ready-to-use formats for marketing managers looking to leverage data in reports and insights.

Skills/Experience

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in field with 4+ years exp preferred.
  • Degree in Communications, Marketing, Information Science / Information Technology, Computer Science with relevant work experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Google Analytics including enhanced ecommerce setup, data layer management.
  • 5+ years’ experience writing/customizing JavaScript for analytics and tracking purposes.
  • 3+ years of experience in SEO, experience working with large-scale ecommerce a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of On-Page and Off-Page search engine optimization.
  • Working knowledge of implementing search optimizations on a website.
  • Experience working with SEO analysis tools: Majestic, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Moz etc.
  • Experience with SEO analytics and performance tools: Google/Bing Webmaster Tools, Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing and inbound lead generation.
  • Ability to work successfully with cross-functional teams & brands, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify and resolve problems.
  • Project management and time management skills are essential.
  • Agile project management skills.
  • Self-motivated, performance and results driven.
  • A team player with high energy.
  • Enterprise-level consulting experience preferred.
