The Director of Executive Recruiting will lead our executive recruiting efforts directly supporting the executive leadership at Pinterest. We are looking for someone who is committed to being a talent advisor as we continue to grow as an organization. The executive recruiting function’s aim is to consistently provide world-class executive recruiting practices. This includes advancing our in-house executive recruiting model in areas of market mapping, sourcing, selection, and stakeholder management.
The successful candidate will directly manage executive searches, develop strategies to support executive sourcing and market mapping, and oversee a team to fully support our executive recruiting needs. They’ll commit to inclusive hiring to contribute to our dedication to growing a diverse company where people from all backgrounds thrive.
This is a full-time position based anywhere in the United States.
What you’ll do:
- Build out a comprehensive Executive Recruitment Strategy. Advance the strategy around leadership engagement and support.
- Further develop methodologies for market mapping, sourcing, and nurturing executive candidates.
- Refine the interaction model with key stakeholders including HRBPs and Compensation.
- Develop a deep understanding of Pinterest’s business and leadership needs.
- Create and execute a strategy that will support building and nurturing strong talent pipelines.
- Proactively research and communicate market trends that impact the recruiting process.
- Apply this knowledge to differentiate Pinterest’s unique value proposition to prospective executive candidates.
What we’re looking for:
- Extensive experience building and leading an executive recruiting function directly managing people.
- Experience developing extensive market mapping and insight models.
- Sustained track record of success gained in executive talent acquisition within the technology or a closely related industry.
- A consultative approach to provide the highest level of executive communication to all stakeholders, partners, prospects, and candidates.
- Ability to operate with autonomy in ambiguous environments on a global scale.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross functionally and influence.
- Deep knowledge of consumer technology market and leadership talent in the areas of engineering and product is a plus.
