As the Director of Finance at Redpoint, you will be responsible for planning, developing and implementing all of the financial aspects of the business with the main goal of achieving company's financial objectives. 

You should be able to collaborate and communicate well with senior management and have a strong knowledge of all accounting, financial and business principles as this position is critical to our business success. This role is more than reporting and requires an individual that has a head for business.

Duties of this job include but are not limited to: 

  • Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of fundamental financial planning and analysis, such as planning, spending, predicting, report generation, and other tasks.
  • Set targets for and supervise all accounting and finance personnel (accounting manager, A/R & A/P)
  • Collaborate with all departments to support the business
  • Financial forecasting, budget preparation and analysis of variances at both the department and company levels.
  • Oversee all audit and internal control operations
  • Direct preparation of budgets, review budget proposals, and prepares necessary supporting documentation and justification.
  • Provide management with timely reviews of organization’s financial status and progress in its various programs and activities.
  • Manage banking relationships, compliance and reporting
  • Manage the month end close and ensure accuracy and timeliness in the reporting of the financial statements
  • Ensure adherence to GAAP financial laws and guidelines
  • Manage the cap table and assist with preparation of board reporting

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as director of finance or similar role in a B2B software company
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, GAAP and best practices
  • Solid knowledge of financial analysis, forecasting and cash flow management
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office (particularly Excel modelling) and financial management software (Sage Intacct)
  • An analytical mind with a strategic ability
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities with the ability to work with all levels of the organization.
  • BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
  • CPA or other relevant qualification is a plus
