Summary

The Measured platform represents the 4th gen evolution in marketing analytics SaaS platforms. It’s packed with “standard” innovations in marketing tech and ad tech over the last 15 years, while pushing the envelope on new frontiers in marketing tech and marketing sciences. We are solving problems across distributed systems, linear/integer programming, state machine algorithms, managing industrial-scale ML models and artfully-crafted-bespoke data science models in one framework, dependency graphs based adaptive systems, SaaS-like database management, managing 100s of 3rd party API integrations, applications in graph theory, artful blending of big data & small data, the list goes on. Many of the engineering team members have a decade and a half of experience architecting machine learning and big data systems, and drove many patented breakthrough innovations that moved the marketing measurement industry into the advanced attribution era.

The ideal candidate brings an entrepreneurial mindset, enjoys the process of discovering solutions for unsolved market problems, pours enormous energies into building out a product against the solution, and works with everyone under the sun to see it succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, hire and coach team of engineers, providing mentorship with a focus on growth, as well as support through non-performance.
  • Provide technical vision, solid foundation in software design, technical roadmap, and ability to weigh tradeoffs to balance short-term and long-term investments.
  • Work in close partnership with product, design and other engineering teams to plan, build and deliver best-in-class experiences for our users.
  • Be accountable for the timely delivery, overall technical excellence, quality of the software deliverables, enhancing existing architecture through optimization, or refactoring.
  • Support customer escalations, work with customer success and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive engineering experience with 7+ years in managing engineering teams of size 15-20 team members in product / technology / startup organizations.
  • Advanced degree in software engineering or computer science is a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous working experience in building SaaS platform, real-time, scalable and high available production systems.
  • Demonstrable experience in architecting software products/solutions; deep familiarity with modern technologies, design principles, and patterns.
  • Strong familiarity with the SaaS Software development cycle and agile environment is preferred.
  • Experience with Cloud platforms, preferably AWS. Understanding of cloud services like ECS, Lambda, EKS, SecretsManager, RDS or their equivalents.
  • Experience with multiple front-end languages, libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery), and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js).
  • Experience with design and development in any of these languages: Java / Kotlin / Typescript / Python, and desire to learn other languages.
  • Understanding of microservices / serverless stacks with containerized deployments.
