In this role, you will... 

The Director, HR Business Partner is an integral part of the HR team, providing HRBP support to members of our Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and their functions, aligning people initiatives with business goals. This position will report to the VP, HR, and you will be responsible for managing all aspects of employee engagement, performance management, coaching, and building programs to drive our organizational evolution for the groups you support. The Director, HRBP will also contribute to focus areas including learning and development, mergers & acquisitions, performance management, organizational design, and DEI&B.  

What you'll do 

  • Serve as a trusted partner to the ELT and their departments to develop, coach, and drive innovative business initiatives within their teams. 
  • Partner with the VP to build programs and policies that will support our organization in its next phase of growth. 
  • Support our teams through organic and inorganic growth. Coach leaders on hiring plans, staffing needs, and their organizational structure, working closely with your Talent Acquisition (TA) and Finance partners. 
  • Lead your business units through performance review cycles, serving as a key thought partner to leadership. 
  • Champion HR initiatives and ongoing organizational initiatives that enable and improve a high-performance company culture as we grow and scale. 
  • Drive organizational design for the functions you support, leveraging insights from experts within the organization. 
  • Partner with L&D to develop and deliver training for managers and employees. 
  • Innovate and react quickly as the company shifts and evolves.

Education/Experience: 

  • A minimum of 7+ years of HR experience a high-growth, dynamic environment, with at least 4 years as an HR Business Partner 
  • Experience in a technology company is strongly preferred. 
  • You’re resourceful, forward-thinking, drawn to building from ambiguous and unsolved problems and have an "own the outcome" mindset. 
  • You are solutions-oriented and share learnings with others on your team 
  • You have a proven ability to partner with others to build, track, prioritize and drive concurrent projects to success with a strong operational background and mission centric emphasis. 
  • You excel at openness and flexibility with internal clients, balanced with maintaining consistency and equity in people philosophies and practices 
  • Experience with a variety of HR systems and programs, as well as having experience in implementation and education of new tooling. 

Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal equity. 

Salary is just one component of Transcarent's total package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock options.

Location 

You must be authorized to work in the United States. Depending on the position we may have a preference to a specific location, but are generally open to remote work anywhere in the US.
