Director of Go-To-Market Strategy and Analytics

The Director of Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy and Analytics will play a pivotal role in advancing our organization's growth and operational efficiency. This individual will lead the development and management of reporting, analytics, and insights for the GTM team, collaborating closely with various stakeholders across the business. Their responsibilities will extend to overseeing critical cross-functional projects that support GTM efforts, demanding a strong analytical skill set and adaptability within a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Data and Visualization Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive data and visualization strategy for GTM. This includes establishing consistent data definitions, creating dashboards and reports, and sharing valuable insights to inform executive decision-making.
  • Reporting Cadence: Maintain a consistent reporting schedule, ensuring that insightful and actionable analyses are delivered to the appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Cross-Functional Initiatives: Take charge of cross-functional initiatives aligned with Apollo's strategic priorities. This entails defining project scopes, identifying success metrics, and effectively managing teams to achieve project goals.
  • Ad-Hoc Analyses: Lead and manage ad-hoc analyses and activities that span multiple teams, providing support for company objectives and addressing emerging issues.
  • GTM Analytics Strategy: Evolve the GTM analytics strategy to meet the specific needs of GTM teams. Cultivate a data-driven decision-making culture and enhance data literacy across the organization.
  • Analytics Framework: Develop a robust analytics framework that caters to both tactical and strategic business needs, emphasizing data and analytics as key tools for effective business management.
  • Team Leadership: Coach and mentor a team to uncover valuable insights and successfully execute critical projects.

About You:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a rapidly growing SaaS environment, with additional credit for experience spanning Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
  • At least 3 years of leadership and team management experience, including a proven track record of overseeing complex projects with a significant impact across multiple teams.
  • Possess strong presentation skills, effective communication abilities, and the capacity to build rapport with colleagues.
  • Demonstrated focus on the customer journey and the ability to connect data to enhance the customer experience.
  • A genuine passion for leveraging data to construct compelling narratives that address intricate challenges.
  • A commitment to ongoing personal growth and improvement.
  • Experience working with senior cross-functional stakeholders, such as the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Chief Customer Officer (CCO).

This position can be done from anywhere in the US or Canada but will be working with US and EMEA time zones, so calendar flexibility is key! It will also require light to medium travel - 1-2x per quarter.
