We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Learning & Development to join our team and lead our learning initiatives to ensure the professional and personal growth of our workforce. This person will be a key member of our leadership team, responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive learning and development programs. This role will focus on empowering employees at all levels to enhance their skills, knowledge, and abilities, aligning with our organizational goals and objectives.

StackAdapt is a Remote-first company, we are open to candidates located anywhere in Canada for this position. 

What you'll be doing:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute the company's learning and development strategy, aligning with overall business objectives. Evaluate current training programs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Program Development: Design, implement, and manage innovative learning programs, leadership development initiatives, and skill-building workshops for employees at all levels.
  • Talent Assessment: Collaborate with HR and department heads to assess the skills and learning needs of employees. Develop personalized learning plans for individual and team growth.
  • Learning Technologies: Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate the latest learning technologies and methodologies to enhance training effectiveness and engagement.
  • Measurement and Evaluation: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of learning programs. Use data-driven insights to continuously improve training initiatives.
  • Leadership Development: Implement leadership development programs to nurture and groom future leaders within the organization.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including People, Operations, Sales, and department heads, to align learning initiatives with organizational goals and workforce needs.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all learning programs comply with industry regulations and internal policies.

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Education experience in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field. 
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing successful learning and development programs on a global scale. 
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and learning technologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • The ability to successfully launch learning programs across multiple countries. 
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
