Director of Product Design
Job Overview(Fully Remote)
Leads, defines and advises on the platform experience of the IQVIA Digital Media Operating System. A category-defining platform that enables healthcare marketers to power their full lifecycle of needs from planning, to activation, and measurement of results. The platform also provides powerful lifecycle solutions for healthcare publishers. Marketers can come to the platform to execute their omnichannel marketing strategies, reaching populations of healthcare providers and patients across channels like programmatic, social, email, endemic, and more. This role will manage a team of talented designers, shape our design delivery process, modernize our usage of tools like Figma, and bring through the organizations brand and voice into our platform.
Essential Functions
- Establishes the design delivery process working in concert with Product Management and Engineering, ensuring consistency in experience and clarity in expectations
- Involved in working with our executive team and branding agency to pull through brand identity into the Media OS platform.
- Ensure proper maintenance and governance of the Media OS design system in Figma.
- Improves the handoff process between design/engineering to ensure clarity in expectations.
- Collaborates with marketing and GTM teams to provide support on the usage of platform assets in marketing/GTM materials.
- Coordinates with team to provide critical assets like detailed designs in Figma, prototypes for user testing, etc.
- Ability to explain UI/UX decisions to executives and/or customers, gain acceptance from others in sensitive situations, via thoughtful explanation of design thinking, tradeoffs and user value.
- Generally focused on the look, feel, operation, and functionality of a Media OS platform and potentially commercial website.
- Designs web page layout and online content, user interface graphics, icons, color schemes, content and infrastructure for new product release and new web-hosted product offering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Related working experience with
- Seeking candidate with 6 - 12 years of related experience
- 2+ years experience managing a team of 3+ product designers working on various projects.
- 6+ years experience working with teams of designers and engineers to create systems of re-usable components across a complex platform
- 6+ years experience translating product design into usable collateral for marketing/GTM use.
- B2B software design experience preferred
