A Director, Product Management at PointClickCare is responsible for leading the vision, strategy, and execution products within a specific product portfolio of offerings. This will include developing and communicating strategy, priorities and roadmaps to all stakeholders and aligning on outcomes, as well as supporting execution through strong partnership with Engineering, Analytics, Sales, Customer Success, Implementation, and others.

This role will focus on offerings for our Convener customers, which includes state agencies, hospital associations, and other entities that aim to improve public health and create alignment and networks at the state or federal level. The Director will be responsible for optimizing existing product lines in alignment with market needs, and working closely with State Directors and executive leadership to ensure new ideas are properly evaluated, resourced, prioritized and commercialized to drive continued network growth.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Lead the vision, strategy, and execution for products within the product portfolio 
  • Ensure priorities align with strategy and communicate product priorities in terms of business value to customers and internally prioritizing and communicating product priorities in terms of business value to customers as well as internally to PointClickCare stakeholders 
  • Serve as leader and point person on all priorities and strategic initiatives within product line and portfolio and working in collaboration with leaders across the enterprise to help teams execute  
  • Lead and support product commercialization and go-to-market activities, building and managing strategic relationships with key stakeholders across the business 
  • Develop and communicate product strategy, priorities, and roadmaps to all stakeholders, aligning on outcomes and using metrics to monitor our success and adjust along the way 
  • Lead and manage a team of product managers, include hiring, coaching and mentoring, performance management, development and overall engagement of team members 
  • Champion change and help the team understand and adapt to change while pursuing buy-in on change across teams and departments and monitor progress during change 
  • Takes lead on improving team and cross-functional processes 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 8+ years of software product management experience, preferably in the health care space  
  • 3+ years of managing and leading a team including owning performance management, engagement, development and coaching and mentoring of team members 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field 
  • Experience managing products through the entire product lifecycle
  • High degree of adaptability and experience creating clarity from ambiguity and driving execution 
  • Strong listening, communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, particularly with regard to executive audiences 
  • Experience navigating platform products and matrix organizational structures

$198,000 - $231,000 a year

At PointClickCare, base salary is one of the many components that make up our total rewards package. The US base salary range for this position is $198,000 - $231,000 + bonus or commission + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by job and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual compensation is determined by job-related skills and knowledge, relevant experience including professional and lived experience, and/or work location.
