The Role
As a Developer 2 with the Business Intelligence team you will be responsible for maintaining, updating and enhancing a suite of internal web apps, software services and applications to support the Mass Markets contact centers, including migration from legacy .NET Framework and webforms to .NET 6.
The Main Responsibilities
- ASP.NET (legacy framework and 6+) website and C# application/service development
- SQL Server Database queries and stored procedures
- Work with various teams to find requirements and provide tools, data and support
- Provide prompt and accurate estimates of development Levels of Effort (LOE) and appropriate status updates
- Work closely with management to ensure adnce to best practices and scheduled code release cycles
- Keeping code checked into version control
- Consistently documenting objects, processes, and procedures.
- Monitoring ticketing systems, scheduled jobs and active processes and working to resolve issues as they arise.
What We Look For in a Candidate
This is an intermediate role requiring typically 2+ years of development experience
Required
- Understanding of both legacy ASP.NET Forms and modern ASP.NET
- Experience with C# spanning .NET framework 3.5 to modern .NET 5+
- Able to read, understand and adapt existing SQL to meet new requirements.
- Experience with version control, preferably Git.
- Able to translate requirements into technical code.
- Capable of clearly and consistently documenting work as completed or found.
Preferred
- Familiarity with XML, JSON, and REST APIs.
- Familiarity with HTML5, Javascript, and CSS, with and without frameworks like BootStrap.
- Strong testing and debugging skills
- SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) experience importing data from sources like Oracle, text, csv, APIs
- Experience working in a complex data environment with rapidly changing requirements
- Able to work in an adaptive, reactionary, system without a traditional SLDC framework.
